The Center for Workforce and Community Education offers education and testing at multiple sites. The center located at the Fredericksburg Area Campus serves the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford and the city of Fredericksburg. The Daniel Technology Center in Culpeper opened in the fall of 2006 to serve the counties of Culpeper, Orange and Madison. Both centers have state-of-the-art equipment and access to content experts in a variety of fields.

The Germanna Community College Center for Workforce & Community Education is a division of Germanna Community College dedicated to the continuous improvement of the community through adult education. The Center advances the quality of life in the community by providing life-long learning opportunities intended to enhance personal, economic and regional development The College’s open-enrollment training programs are scheduled to allow flexibility for the working adult. These curricula can also be tailored to individual organizations and offered on site.

The Germanna Center for Workforce and Community Education is the point of contact for workplace skills updates and training needs. The Center is dedicated to the economic development of the region through improved workforce skills and offers programs designed specifically to meet the needs of local employers. In addition, the professional staff at the Center for Workforce is available to develop customized skills training for a variety of settings and organizational structures. Some examples of training developed to meet the identified needs of area businesses are: Achieve Global Training Program®; Quality Control and Lean Six-Sigma; MS Project Management; Customer Service; Management and Supervisory Skills; and Workplace Spanish®.

CompTIA® A+ Certification Preparation; Cisco® Certified Network Associate (CCNA); Journeyman Electrician Apprenticeship; Microsoft Office® Specialist (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project); MS Project; Adobe Certification (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, In-Design, Illustrator); Personal Trainer National Certification; Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW); and more.
Additionally, through a partnership with Gatlin Educational Services, Germanna offers a wide array of certification training opportunities including Medical Coding, Medical Specialist, Pharmacy Technician, Financial Planning, HVAC, Video Game Design and many more.
Germanna Community College also provides on-line educational opportunities through Ed2go and Gatlin Educational Services. All materials are made available over the internet but students still have access to an instructor.
